My gran...My father's parents lived in Bakerton. My grandfather worked all his life in those coal mines. My father and his brothers worked there also in their younger years, until they moved away. In fact, my uncle almost died once in a coal mine cave-in, although, I'm not sure which mine he worked in at that time, as I was very young. My Mother grew up there and we would take the 7 hour trip there from Northern New Jersey twice a year to see my grandmother, till she passed some years ago. It's been quite some time since I've been there and seeing all of your great photography has brought back some cherished memories of those road trips.
