Colvin Covered Bridge, Built around 1880 by J. H. Thompson. It spans the Shawnee Creek. It was rehabilitated in 1998. This is one of two multiple king post covered bridges in Bedford County, PA. The bridge is located one mile off Route 30 in Shellsburg.

It was a nice surprise finding all of these photos of Cambria County on your blog. I'm a native of Barnesboro- or, Northern Cambria,as they now call it- living in Los Angeles, and I spent about an hour sifting through the photos, many of which were familiar. And though we do have a long motorbike season in Southern California, there's no better riding than the empty, winding rural roads of Western PA- Old Miller Road, Ridgeroad, Blacksnake-makes we want to take a vacation!
